The world has changed as we know it and people are now opting for shared mobility for obvious reasons. As a result, there is currently strong growth in sales of bicycles and e-bikes, especially in some European countries. The new trend has forced the authorities to invest in infrastructure that supports the latest trend in mobility, and therefore to develop new cycle paths.

As for India, Ducati said it would have no problem extending its current reach to electric bikes. In an exclusive telephone interaction with HT Auto, Bipul Chandra, MD, Ducati India said the company would present its electric bikes in India when the market was ready.

“If the market is there, Ducati would be happy to offer its range of electric bikes on the Indian market. For the moment, we have a very limited capacity to produce these bikes and we already have stocks on the European market where are customers on, “Chandra told HT Auto.
